The Incredible Kyle Blue returns for a one night only performance of classic and new material in front of a live audience in an intimate setting. Hosted by Comedian Mike Worm. Opening Acts are Rap Duo The Enter-Lectuals and Poet Chris Crawford. This event will be a live taping.

Every odd Thursday I will be hosting open mic Odd Thursdays at Super Happy Fun Land.This is what we call Open Stage where all types of performers are welcome to showcase their talents in front of the most diverse audience in the city. Every first Saturday of the month I organize and host a great open mic called Under The Hut Poetry Night in the heart of Third Ward. Each show showcases a featured poet that speaks on the community and express themselves freely for your viewing and listening pleasure. Hip Hop soul band Hybrid Soulz carries the night away with steady jams of fresh material. No cover charge. BYOB. All goes down at the wonderful and celebrated Reggae Hut. All we ask is that all artists who wish to perform keep it clean and use no profanity as children are welcomed to come. 6pm to 9pm.

December 26, 2012 I will be returning with the Banned From Stage II show. It will be the day after Christmas and there will be a toy drive as well. This event will be hosted by Oz and Euphonic. Everything will take place @ The Secret Word Cafe. Cover is $5.

Banned From Stage II: Encore will be geared towards making great live entertainment on all angles. Not only will you get to enjoy his one man show but you will also get to see other great independent artist showcase their talents as well. The freestyle pharaoh Tayo Tha Poet will open the event with Spoken Soul songs off of his current release "Iphonagrafee". Songwriter and rap artist Shondra will be representing for the ladies.Recently nominated comedian of the year Mickey Housley is going to be funny as usual. Houston Press artist of the year nominee Syd the Man will gladly come to bring his unique style of singing, rapping, and cussing mixed together for your pleasure. Brave and heartfelt poetry will be brought to you by the lovely Chris Crawford. Special appearance from the well known ladies man Silky Blaq. Oz will be in the building to make his presence known. Event will be hosted by the wild and delightful David Tyson Moore on behalf of and sponsored by Southmore House Presents which is a proud renegade arts organization dedicated to the facilitation, motivation, and inspiration of expression in all genres. The night will be topped off with hardcore christian rock artist BlackMagicMarker who is guaranteed to leave a lasting impression on those brave enough to attend. Be prepared to be seen and shot as photography will be done by Visually Speaking. Portrait paintings of your favorite celebrities will also be on display for purchase if interested and all done by the talented Damond Malloy.
